Day 45, 46

Hi everyone...I hope you are doing well! I'll just make this short and sweet. My eating is anything but braggable (yes, I just made up a word) and my working out even less braggable (what a good word!) I see old demons rearing their ugly heads and emotional eating ruling unchecked but heres a possible explanation? My best friend who was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago found out that her cancer has spread to her lungs and really every major organ in her upper body. I'm no doctor yet but I have a feeling this is grim news. She was in town visiting and she can't taste foods unless they are so salty you want to puke and takes pills the size of my thumb. We celebrated to good times in the past and more good times to come. My car was towed last night from a lot that had 22 out of 35 (I counted) other cars parked the exact same way that mine was...I was chosen to be the example. I was not happy. When I called the customer service desk at the company to retrieve my car, I was hung up on twice mid sentence because I asked for an explanation (I was very polite...seriously...too polite) as to why my car was singled out.
My car was taken to essentially the swamplands in the "Red light" district of town and a few nice men were smoking cigarettes while sitting on the hood of MY CAR that I just paid $150 to get. I drove my baby out of there as fast as I could. The city of Dallas and I have some talking to do.
Now I'm off to nurse the migraine that the past 24 hours have left me with.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. And the issue with your car just stinks. I've had my car towed-- I don't understand why they have to be so mean about it! I am handing them money!
