Day 24: Planned detours...a matter of motivation?

Today was just perfectly on Plan, I worked out, I ate well and I'm BACK! Roni took the words right out of my mouth with this post... I logged on to write exactly this!! Yes, I splurged this weekend...yes, I picked all weekend and with foods that I probably should not (okay, not probably definitely should not) have been eating. But I knew it was going to be that way. The boyfriend is a big eater and I usually don't mold myself to him but it was a weekend where he called the shots on where we were going to go eat...I knew I didnt want to be overly cautious and worried about tracking because its hard to do when you are eating out all the time and I knew I wouldnt have a chance to eat too many meals at home. But the important thing, I told myself it would stop (the eating out) the second the BF left and we weren't wining and dining anymore and it did. Monday morning I was back on track and it was easy...because I let myself indulge. It was a planned detour in the words of Roni. In the past, I would have easily thought that 2 days blown out the water meant a whole week gone but I know that I can make it up by hitting the gym hard and staying on point this week so that's what I'll be doing! Keep me accountable :)
